Prior to founding AXSA, Amit led a team at Goldman Sachs Investment Management Division. Over the last two decades, Amit also had cross-divisional work experiences in Corporate Finance, Sales & Trading & Investment Management with Merrill Lynch, DBS & Citi.

In 2008, Amit received his MBA from The Wharton School, majoring in Finance & Statistics. He also has a Masters in Management Studies (Finance) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Mumbai.

Shashank Samant

Co-founder & COO,

Prior to co-founding AXSA, Shashank was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Investment Management Division. Shashank’s career started in Sales & Trading divisions at Morgan Stanley in Mumbai and Citigroup Global Markets in Hong Kong.

He graduated in 2009 from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay with a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science, where he was a recipient of the prestigious O.P. Jindal scholarship awarded for academic and leadership excellence.

Michaela Tan

Prior to co-founding AXSA, Michaela worked at Goldman Sachs Investment Management Division, starting her career as an investment analyst doing sales and trade execution before transitioning into business development and advisory roles.

He graduated from Nanyang Business School in 2020 with a Bachelor of Business Degree, majoring in Banking and Finance.

Ruth Delos Santos

Previously, Ruth held various managerial and bookkeeping roles in the e-commerce, F&B and hospitality industries in Singapore and the Philippines.

Ruth received her Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the Universidad De Sta. Isabel in 2007.

William Prasetya

William joined AXSA after an internship with the firm. Previously, he was a strategy consultant at EY-Parthenon, advising state-owned enterprises and conglomerates in Indonesia. He was also involved in start-ups as a co-founder and accountant.

He received his MBA from INSEAD in 2025 and graduated from the University of Southern California with a BSc in Accounting  in 2018.

Wui Seng Quah

Wui Seng was a Director at UOB Group where he oversaw strategy for UOB Private Wealth. He started his career as a strategy consultant in London working with leading financial services firms in the UK, US, Switzerland, HK and Singapore.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales as well as the CFA Institute. In 2008, He graduated with a Masters in Management and Bachelors in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London.

Celine Yeo

Previously, Celine was a business development and relationship manager at a financial services firm. In the span of 15 years, she also led operations, sales and marketing in different companies across various industries.

Celine received her Diploma in Commerce from Kaplan Higher Education Institute in 2014.

Jason Zheng

Jason joined AXSA after completing an internship with the firm. Previously, he gained experience in Cargill’s capital markets division, where he helped structure new deals and developed tailored lending solutions for institutional clients. Earlier, he worked at a boutique private equity fund, conducting due diligence on distressed assets.

Jason holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
